Final Thoughts – Analyzing the game as a whole

Graphics and UI

Retro 90s-style graphics, well-constructed (and very laid-back!) dialogue, good jokes, and intriguing characters.
Has a very easy-to-understand interface and a well-built HUD with several interaction options for items and people.

Soundtrack and Sound Effects

I loved the overall package! The dialogues are voiced, which adds a layer of polish and helps with immersion. This really helped give Kathy more personality.

Gameplay

The investigation has a massive “mind blow” in the middle of the story: that’s the first thing you need to know about this game. The story is set in the 90s, giving a nostalgic feel to the technology and social habits of the time.

The game uses a manual save system, giving the player autonomy and helping with unlocking achievements. My only gripe was the lack of control during conversations, as the dialogue is continuous and advances automatically, forcing the player to stay sharp.
The puzzles are good, they make you think, and they fit well into the story flow.

Replayability and Game Retention

It’s a great story, but it doesn’t have multiple endings. Personally, I’d only play it again after a long time, as the plot is still very fresh in my memory.
Every point-and-click lover should try it!
