Final Thoughts – Analyzing the Game as a Whole
Graphics and UI
The entire game is in 3D, and you can change the viewing angle while playing.
The idea is that, besides playing cards, you can explore and interact with the environment. However, this type of interaction didn’t work for me. In fact, it felt like a major bug, since it goes completely against the game’s main feature! 🙁
As you interact with the environment, you unlock collectible cards. I only managed to unlock one, precisely because of that bug.
The menu is very self-explanatory, and during gameplay, the options remain at the bottom of the screen. The icons aren’t very intuitive, but clicking on each one helps you understand what they do.
You can choose between two game modes: drawing one card at a time from the deck or drawing three cards at a time.
Soundtrack and Sound Effects
The background music is quite relaxing. You start playing and don’t even notice time passing. When you lose, you’ll want to try again (at least I do, I love card games!).
Gameplay
There’s no mystery here, it’s simply a solitaire game.
I really enjoy card games! I can spend hours playing them.
The only negative point is that the game isn’t very well optimized. Even on a powerful laptop, I noticed it heating up quite a bit during gameplay.
An optimization update would be great, as it would provide a better experience for players using less powerful PCs.
Replayability and Game Retention
For me, the retention worked very well. I wanted to unlock achievements by winning matches in each scenario and in both game modes.
Even after completing those achievements, I keep coming back to play because I’m having so much fun with the card mechanics.
