Final Considerations – Analyzing the Game as a Whole

Graphics and UI

The art has a cartoonish feel, it’s very beautiful and childish.
The entire game is in black and white, which affects your perception of some things in the scenario. But that’s intentional! At the end of the game, when you find the “toem”, you’ll understand why everything is in black and white.

Everything in the game looks like paper, just like in Paper Mario.

I thought all the characters were super creative and charming!

The entire visual experience of the game is pleasant and easy to absorb.
Some shortcuts have been added to the directional buttons to make it easier to use the commands.
The options menu is very easy to understand, I had no problem figuring out how to play and what each button did.

Soundtrack and Sound Effects

The songs are generally calm, none of them really stuck in my head or became unforgettable.

I think the most positive aspect of the soundtrack is the sound effects.
Each character speaks, making a sound like their own language (like in The Sims). I thought that was very nice, it fit well with the game’s atmosphere and reinforced the friendly vibe of the game.

Another thing I really liked was the sound of the horn. Very creative (and if you want to find out what it is, I’ll leave that gap for you to play the game and discover! :P).

Gameplay

The game is basically Pokémon Snap in another universe.
You go around taking pictures of specific things to earn a certain amount of stamps to get on the bus to the next city.
The game has various mini-puzzles, it’s very fun and engaging. There are many secrets, I had a lot of fun.

As you progress, you’ll gain new outfits and some items.

The location was amazing!
Very well done and with great puns well fitted to Brazilian Portuguese language.

Replayability and Game Retention

I played until the end and then continued to play to get the remaining stamps.
It’s not a long game, I finished it in about 4 hours.

I really enjoyed it a lot and will definitely come back to start a new save from time to time.
