A dating sim very different from what we usually see, moving away from clichés and placing us in situations that are, at the very least, unusual. You choose a room and talk to 3 different ghosts. Then you choose which one you want to go out with. Each ghost has a story, and the conversation can be friendly or not. When the date ends, you can visit the ghost’s grave and read a mini-biography.
Final Thoughts – Analyzing the game as a whole
Graphics and UI
I really liked the art style, but I felt it left a lot to be desired in terms of backgrounds. Without them, I found the game very vague, it seems like everyone is in the middle of nowhere.
The HUD is very simple, but I didn’t really like the fonts used on the main screen. If they had kept the same font pattern as the gameplay dialogues, I think the design would have looked better.
Soundtrack and Sound Effects
I really missed having music. At least one for each character or key sounds for the peak moments of the conversations.
Gameplay
Simple and extremely functional. You can use both the mouse and the keyboard to select the options in the main menu and those that appear during gameplay.
The idea was really cool, the art style is very nice too, but I found the game a bit meaningless. There is no depth to each character’s story, and nothing that piques your curiosity or makes you want to keep playing. Maybe if there were a bit more detail in the stories and at least scenarios to illustrate what each ghost’s life was like, the experience would have been much more immersive. Longer conversations would have made all the difference.
Replayability and Game Retention
The dates are extremely fast, allowing the player to take this game in an extremely casual way for the next dates. But I have my doubts if most players would feel like playing again, exactly because there isn’t much depth in the encounters.
