Retro, indie, AAA… whatever it is, if it catches my attention, I’ll give it a try.
Back in 2018 I created a blog called Nerd Trash, and it stayed alive until the end of 2024. After a full year on hiatus (pretty much all of 2025), I decided to shut that blog down and start fresh with this one. The main reason? Language. Writing in Portuguese limited me to people who only speak Portuguese, and I wanted to reach more gamers to share my thoughts, recommendations and guides.
With almost 260 reviews, it felt like too much to just leave behind, so I reposting them here before writing new stuff. That’s why you might see notes like “This review was originally written on xx/xx/20xx”.
I write honest reviews for everything I play (or almost everything). Some games I beat fast, others take me ages, so my posting schedule is all over the place. I’m not trying to turn this into a big gaming portal, I just want to write at my own pace and be real about it.
All screenshots come from my own gameplay. I speak English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and a bit of Japanese. I use games to practice languages, so you’ll see screenshots in different languages.
