Final Thoughts – Analyzing the Game as a Whole

Graphics and UI

I think this is the strongest aspect of the game.

Despite having a somewhat childlike aesthetic, Tangrams Deluxe is incredibly charming and charismatic. The animations are well integrated, adding a lot of dynamism and a sense of fluidity to the gameplay.
It’s a simple game without many options. It’s very intuitive, and I believe that was intentional to make the gameplay accessible to children.

Soundtrack and Sound Effects

The music remains the same throughout, but I didn’t find it uncomfortable or annoying. On the contrary, it’s lively and, combined with the visuals, it makes you feel excited to complete the puzzles.

Gameplay

Unfortunately, there aren’t many Tangram games available on Steam, but this one is quite interesting.
There are over 200 images, and each completed figure is displayed with a very nice animation and an illustration above the pieces.

It’s a charming game, but it does have some small flaws: there’s no hint button, there isn’t a mixed-image mode (the images are grouped by category), and there are no difficulty levels separating the figures.

It’s a great pastime for moments when you want to play something casual. In general, the images are easy to assemble, with only a few that made me stop and think.
If you want to start over, you have the option to reset your progress.

Replayability and Game Retention

This is an excellent option for puzzle game fans.

I can confidently say that this is the type of game I always end up playing when I’m bored and want something to occupy my time without worrying about a storyline.
