I particularly enjoyed the art style chosen for this game.
It uses few colors, but they are carefully selected, and the clean linework — despite its simplicity — conveys the characters’ emotions beautifully.
The animations are simple and smooth, and very well done.
Without a doubt, the game’s greatest strength lies in its UI design.
As the narrative unfolds, the player interacts through clicks and simple puzzles (which exist to enhance immersion rather than provide challenge).
Each interaction is thoughtfully designed, bringing a layer of symbolism or metaphor.
A great example of this appears during the dialogue sequences. At first, you assemble speech bubbles like puzzle pieces, and as the story progresses, those pieces gradually disappear.
These small details add significant richness to the experience.
Soundtrack and Sound Effects
The soundtrack is beautifully composed and complements each moment perfectly.
It enhances immersion and never feels repetitive or intrusive.

As mentioned earlier, this is a purely narrative experience. If that’s not your preference, it may not be for you.

The game explores different phases of life in a very direct and delicate way, so simple that even the emotional experiences portrayed feel intimate and accessible.
I recommend this game for newcomers who want to explore video games but may not feel comfortable with action mechanics, as well as for those with a modest PC setup.

Replayability and Game Retention
The story is very short, I finished it in approximately 40 minutes.
I only replayed it to complete all the achievements.
Florence is a pleasant experience for those days when you don’t want to think too much but still want to enjoy something meaningful.
It’s the kind of game that leaves warm memories, and one I’ll gladly revisit when I’m feeling nostalgic.
