Final Thoughts – Analyzing the game as a whole

Graphics and UI

I loved the sketch style and the pastel color palette. It brought a calm vibe to the game, and for first-time players, this helps reinforce the sense of mystery. The animation of the art strokes reminded me a lot of Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Nintendo DS). I have a huge soft spot for this art style.

The UI is very well done, perfectly matching the art style. The font choice fits perfectly, and the text box borders have the same stroke animation as the mysterious girl.
The in-game menu is very intuitive.

Soundtrack and Sound Effects

This is the weakest part of the game, in my opinion. The music is always the same, and there are very few sound effects.
Since the game is short, a few more sounds would have been nice, like vocal cues for emotions like surprise or doubt.

Gameplay

This is a great visual novel for people who aren’t usually into the genre because it’s very short. The multiple endings keep you coming back, and it works great as a casual game.

The whole game is just clicking, and it’s super easy to understand. As with most visual novels, the spacebar can be used to advance the dialogue. As with most visual novels, the spacebar can be used to advance dialogue. Previously read text can be skipped to speed up the progress of new choices.

Replayability and Game Retention

The game is extremely short, so it’s easy to start over and make new choices. In fact, after finishing it for the first time, that’s exactly what I did (which is very rare for me! hahaha).

[blur]I was very confused at first.
Being wary of everything, I thought I had been kidnapped!. In my first playthrough, I tried to be the “nice guy” and was a bit disappointed when she turned me down so coldly.
I guess the biggest challenge is actually getting her interested in you.[/blur]
