Here’s a super fun and challenging game.
Your goal is to jump to avoid the obstacles in the stage, and as you progress through the level, the number of kilometers you’ve traveled keeps going up.

It’s extremely simple and works perfectly for those moments when you’re bored and have no idea what to play.

A dog wearing a superhero cape is running on a stage featuring a big blue box with a yellow star on it. A dog is running on a stage that has a forest and mountains in the background. Final Thoughts – Looking at the game as a whole

Graphics and UI

Beautiful art, both for the characters and the environments. Everything is nicely detailed, but there isn’t much variety when it comes to backgrounds and objects.

The UI is straightforward and functional. The only downside is that when you die, instead of going back to the main menu, it shows the last screen you were on before starting the run.

Soundtrack and Sound Effects

Cute songs, except for the game over theme, which in my opinion is pretty annoying and grating!

Gameplay

The controls are extremely simple. You just need to use the space bar.

The levels have little pug-shaped coins, and as you collect them, you unlock new critters to play with (each one has a different ability, like running faster or having a double jump).
During your run, you can also find some letters; if you collect them all and spell “turbo pug dx,” a secret level gets unlocked (randomly, since there’s more than one secret level! hahaha). But you only get one chance to beat it. If you die, you’ll have to collect the letters again.

The game also offers a level editor, so you can create your own stages or play ones made by other players.

Replayability and Game Retention

Since it’s a runner with a pretty high difficulty, the urge to keep restarting to beat your own record is strong. And then there are the coins, collecting them unlocks new pets to play with <3
It’s a great example of that “okay, now I’ll beat it” kind of game hahaha
